For sale is a set of all 3 models of solid-state Transoceanic, a 1000, a 3000 and a 7000. Included is the hard-to-find battery box and the original wavemagnet antenna for the 1000. There doesn't appear to be battery-leakage damage in any of them, although all 3 show signs of the surfact patina that collects inside over 50 years. It looks like all hte inspector labels and stmaps are intact. I powered the 1000 and 3000 up on a bench supply and the 7000 on AC to verify they still work. All 3 pull in a station ok. [All 3 pull in all the local flyback and dimmer switch interference even better--Sharon is not a good environment for radio signals]. All 3 whip antennas are straight and all the handles not broken. They all could probably benefit from a contact cleaning and realignment. I didn't want to get too far into attempting restoration and take a chance on messing up their value. Price is $500 firm for all 3. Radios are also advertised locally so I reserve the right to end the auction.
